Solar power is used to grow plants that in turn grow beef, eggs, fruits and vegetables. We hope to inspire a gentler, more natural way of living while producing wholesome, sustainable food.
KYV Farm
Fresh, healthy vegetable alternatives for Duval, St. Johns, and Clay Counties, Florida
We are a small CSA/market garden located in a heavily developed area in the northwest of St Johns County. Our mission is to provide a fresh and healthy alternative for the community.
Our farming practices include:
- Crop Rotation
- Use of cover crops as green manure
- Compost and mulches
- Use of proven organic seeds
- Sustainable irrigation systems
- Use of cold frames to start and extend our season
Smith and John's
Fresh vegetables CSA
Smith and Johns, Inc. was established in 1947, and is now owned and operated by Wayne Smith and his sons, Jeb and Joel. The farm has been operated by the family for 5 generations. Our crops include (but are not limited to) cabbage, kale, radishes, carrots, lettuce, and collard greens.
Terk's Acres
Raw, hormone-free, antibiotic-free goat milk and farmstead goat cheese.
Our French Alpines roam and forage happily throughout our 19 acres along Six Mile creek in St Augustine, FL.
Find us at the Old City Farmers Market @ the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on Saturdays.
