On Monday, March 4, 6:30-8:30 — Join Slow Food First Coast at the north end of the lovely San Marco neighborhood of Jacksonville for a Four Course Persian Dinner Buffet at Green Earth Bistro, 1520 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207. Chef Mashid Parsa has enthusiastically agreed to prepare and discuss her cuisine and heritage with Slow Food members and friends. Her unique spicing will both educate and stimulate your palate. Persia was the home of kabobs and ice cream, and participants in this culinary adventure will have an opportunity to taste these and other authentic dishes. Vegetarians, omnivores, and carnivores will all find delightful surprises. Seating is limited. Guests can r.s.v.p. through Anita Morrill. Dinner is $40 ($45 non-members.)
