Bistro de Leon

Owner, Jean-Stephanie Poinard, has opened a food-lover’s brasserie in downtown Saint Augustine. Situated on the north side of Plaza de la Constitution, this cozy eatery specializes in authentic French cuisine. With five generations of restaurateurs in his background, Chef Jean works diligently to keep his menu fresh and seasonal. He purchases local seafood and vegetables when in season. He uses Thomas’s honey in his dishes, local Datil pepper products, Maggie’s Herbs as well as Florida lobster. The sausage is homemade and the bread is baked on the premises. All of the bistros desserts and the delightful appetizer parfaits are freshly made and displayed in the glass case at the front of the restaurant.
