Du Jour Market

The chef owners of Du Jour, Forrest and Genie, serve up truly “fresh, local, sustainable” dishes. Du Jour sells "made- from- scratch" soups, salads, sandwiches, and gourmet take-away items at two local St. Augustine farmers markets. Their largely vegetarian menu has its beginnings each week in the produce, herbs, and dairy products that area farmers bring to the market. Supporting the community by purchasing locally is their passion and doing their part to promote the region’s agriculture is their mission. Patrons will find tasty seasonal soups each week, several market sandwiches made of vegetables, greens, and homemade spreads as well as dips created from local seafood such as smoked Mullet. The datil pepper is featured in many spreads. Genie and Forrest are very willing to create custom “of the day” menus for both private and business events.
