Gas Full Service Restaurant

Opening in February 2011 in a renovated gas station just east of the Bridge of Lions, “Gas Full Service Restaurant” is the brain child of Chef/Owner Ben Loose and Managing Owners Lindy Loose and Elissa Schee. Working hard to bring local, fresh food to St. Augustine, Chef Ben incorporates CartWheel Ranch beef, Dave’s Breads, Fresh Start Hydroponics, and C& C Fisheries into an eclectic menu with a bit of everything.

Ben Loose chose to open his restaurant in St. Augustine because of the local farmers, purveyors, and artisans available to him and he is adding more local products when he can. They have specials everyday that reflect what is in season and sauces, dressings, slaws, and chips are made in-house. In fact, all of the desserts are homemade, including Strawberry or Peach and Datil Fried Ice Cream – when in season. So, whether you want Regular, Ultimate, or Premium, stop at “Gas” and leave with a full tank.
