Griffin Farms Diamond Bar Ranch
Mr. and Mrs. Griffin raise grass fed beef on their beautiful 1800-acre ranch in Keystone Heights.
The quality of their beef speaks for itself in the eating. The bulls are registered Angus with supporting documentation. Each member of the herd is scrupulously cared for and gently handled to reduce stress.
The UF, IFAS Extension is working with the ranch to research the sustainability of grass fed beef raised on rotating fields of rye, or purple top turnips. So far, the beef raised is graded "top select" and "choice". The healthy growth of the herds and the marbling of the beef are fine indications of the beefs quality and attest to the success of the program.
All operations of the ranch are geared toward authenticity and improving the herd. Forage is grown right on the ranch and wells have been dug to provide water. The Griffins personally cares for each member of the herd. They will even move their herds between pastures by leading them caringly with a bucket of "cow candy."
The care and attention of every detail of the ranch’s operation has led to the local availability of grass fed beef. The population of northeast Florida is fortunate to have such a wonderful food source. Please contact the ranch for purchasing.
